A Champion Inn, Champion Alberta Jacket in England! This is Rebecca. Rebecca lives in England and to our surprise, she sent us a very special email! "Hi, My name is Rebecca and I'm 15, I live in Englnad. I was just emailing you ask/tell you about a jacket I bought from a second hand shop in Camden Lock Market. It is a blue bowling (?) jacket with the logo "Champion Inn- Champion Alberta". On the left sleeve is the name "Dorothy" I was just doing some research on the web, to see if I could find out something/anything about where this jacket is from and if anyone knows who it belonged to. I understand this is a little vague, but I just thought it might be of interest to someone that it has reached sunny (or more aptly, rainy!) old england! Thanks- Rebecca Well, we were so impressed with this young lady's efforts, that we did a little investigating of our own and actually found the original owner of the Jacket!! It was in fact a Baseball Jacket, made for Patrons of the Champion Inn in Champion, Alberta! The Jacket itself was a winter jacket, from the mid-80's and had been given to a family member who lived in Edmonton, Alberta. When we contacted "Dorothy" in Champion, Alberta, and unfolded our story, she smiled and said "Well if that's my jacket, then what am I still doing here?!" and laughed whole heartedly! Good Point! Dorothy recalled having giving the jacket to a cousin in Edmonton, Alberta, said "If only ithe Jacket could tell us it's story of travel and ventures, we'd be stylin'!"

Unfortunately, we may never find out how Dorothy's ol' Jacket ended up in England but what we do know is Rebecca's gentle ways, most generously offered to return the Jacket, if in fact it had sentimental value to Dorothy. What a commendable gesture on her behalf.
Dorothy, flattered by the warm-hearted gesture, said that at some point in time, she'd simply love a picture of Rebecca in the Jacket and in return she'll try and dig up a picture from the 80's with her in the jacket as well!
What more could we ask for? What a perfect ending to our story!
Rebecca herself, is in High School. She's a big fan of Lord of the Rings  and the handsome lad who plays Frodo Baggins. The picture of Rebecca was taken on the London Eye,  a huge fairground wheel that you can go up in, to see an ariel view of London.
